• Indygena hydrophilic coating is a waterproof and breathable barrier. It protects against water while its vapor path attracts perspiration from the body and allows it to evacuate through the garment for better comfort. It gives the natural down a protection against humidity, thus offering it the best environment to perform as an insulation. Our coating is engineered to be lighter and smoother than other regular polyurethan (PU) barrier. Without compromising waterproofness or breathability, the coating gives to the fabric a supple handfeel that emphasizes the enveloping sensation of natural down. PU coating is also more durable than PTFE-PU membrane.

La surface du tissu est traitée avec un apprêt déperlant durable.
• Duvet naturel : Le duvet naturel est considéré comme étant l’élite de tous les isolants. Les barbules du duvet qui sont extrêmement légères tout en étant aussi extrêmement volumineuses offrent un rapport chaleur/poids supérieur aux isolants synthétiques puisqu’ils permettent à la chaleur du corps d’être emmagasinée. Le duvet naturel est incroyablement compressible, léger et durable. Contrairement aux isolants synthétiques, le duvet naturel peut reprendre sa forme duveteuse pendant des décennies.
• Apprêt déperlant appliqué à la surface du tissu : Permet au tissu de rester au sec et prévient la transpiration de condenser à l’intérieur du vêtement. Il a une cote de performance testée à 80% après 20 lavages. Avec sa chaine moléculaire C6, ce déperlant à base de fluorocarbone est l’option la plus durable et ayant le moins d’impact sur l’environnement actuellement disponible sur le marché. Le déperlant peut facilement être réactivé par la chaleur de la sécheuse en seulement quelques minutes.
• L’enduction hydrophile Indygena est une couche de protection imperméable et respirante. Elle bloque toute entrée d’eau tout en attirant la transpiration loin du corps et en lui permettant d’être évacuée vers l’extérieur du vêtement pour plus de confort. Cette protection garde le duvet naturel au sec, ce qui permet à ses caractéristiques isolantes de performer dans le meilleur environnement possible. L’ingénierie derrière nos enductions leur permet d’être plus légère et souple que d’autres couches imperméables à base de polyuréthane (PU). Sans compromis d’imperméabilité ou de respirabilité, l’enduction procure au tissu une main flexible qui souligne les propriétés enveloppantes du duvet naturel.
